about me
Growing up in a musical family from PEI, I had a fiddle put in my hands at the age of six. But being the middle of five children, and the shyest, all I really wanted to do was draw. My mother would save me pieces of scrap paper and even gave me a wall in my bedroom to paint on. Having a brother who was a commercial artist and another a succesful political cartoonist she wanted to nurture that artistic gene in me. I gave up the fiddle at twelve, but never stopped drawing.
Upon graduating highschool I went to study Visual Communications, where I learned how to do everything by hand. The college had just bought its first Mac computers and email addresses had six periods in them.
After years of working in print, I returned to school to learn about multimedia and upgrade my skills. I found work in the television and animation industry, worked on some fantastic shows and made some amazing friends.
Since 2005 I have been working in e-Learning, designing, developing, illustrating, and animating my way through courses. Creating engaging eLearning solutions for clients from many backgrounds and learning a lot myself along the way!
Now tell me about you!
